Turnkey automation cells

Robot integration
We work across the brands common in Australian industry: ABB, Kuka, Kawasaki, Fanuc and Comau.
Working across brands means the robot can be chosen to suit your application and your existing plant, rather than being limited to one supplier.
Machine vision
Vision is a large part of our work, usually to guide a robot: finding parts that are never presented the same way twice, locating them in 2D or 3D, and giving the robot a pick point it can rely on.
We work with Cognex and MVTec Halcon, and set up the lighting, calibration and robot interface as part of the cell rather than as an afterthought.
Mechanical design and simulation
Robot cell design. Layouts worked out for throughput and access, not just for fit.
End effector design. Tooling built around your product, so the robot handles what you actually make.
Standalone machines. Purpose built for a process where nothing off the shelf will do.
Robot simulation. Cells tested and validated virtually before anything is built. It is far cheaper to find a problem at a desk than on site.
Electrical design
Control system design and machine safety design, documented properly, so whoever maintains the cell after us can work on it.
Custom software
Where the standard tools do not reach, we write what is missing. That is where PalletLogics and the OEE Data Viewer came from, and we still write control software and robot programming libraries for jobs that need them.
Training
Training on the robot brands your team runs: ABB, Kuka, Kawasaki, Fanuc and Comau. Machine vision as well, with Cognex and MVTec Halcon.

When something stops
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient hour. We support robots, PLCs and machine vision across brands, and we also do preventative maintenance so there is less to fix.
